ARTC is seeking a proactive and strategic Tech-Biz Manager to drive industry partnerships, new business opportunities, and initiatives that support manufacturing transformation for our RIE20230. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, industry collaboration, and business strategy.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Development
  • Work with collaborators across the Biomedical Manufacturing Pillar ecosystem to establish strategic collaborative R&D partnerships and business deals.
  • Generate leads, prospect new businesses by networking, or through other means of generating interest from potential clients
  •  Track industry trends and competitor activities to enhance R&D and industry engagement roadmap

 Partnership & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Take ownership of customer accounts, manage and strengthen relationships with executive C/B-level stakeholders
    Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities for growth, negotiate and close business deals
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with industry leaders, trade associations and agencies 
    Lead conversations with customers to capture business and technical requirements to provide proposals for projects 
  • Create and implement business plans, prepare and conduct commercial growth presentations
  • Lead translation of research outcomes to industry adoption

Proposal & Project Management

  • Drive or support the preparation of industry proposals and funding submissions
  • Ensure high-quality documentation and timely delivery of all business development materials
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams in proposal development, budgeting, and project planning       

              

Qualification and Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field 
  • Experience in business development, industry engagement, or technology commercialisation
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
  • A team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers
  • Professional presentation and communication skills for management level audience, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude, resilient and agile, quick to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
