Job Summary
We are seeking a Scientist to develop advanced modelling, simulation, and optimization solutions for complex operational systems, particularly in the aviation domain.
Responsibilities
• Develop mathematical, simulation, and optimization models.
• Build simulation frameworks and digital twins for operational analysis and performance evaluation.
• Conduct scenario studies, forecasting, and system performance assessments.
• Analyze operational data and validate modelling results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.
Requirements
• PhD in Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Physics, or related quantitative disciplines.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in modelling, simulation, optimization, or operations research.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience with optimization solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools, or SCIP.
• Experience with simulation platforms such as AnyLogic, SimPy, Arena, MATLAB/Simulink, or RePast.
• Knowledge of aviation, aerospace, transportation, or operational systems is advantageous but not required.
