Job Description
Bulk Gas and Specialty Gas System Owner. Subject matter expert in typical semiconductor foundry design, facilitation, operation and maintenance of bulk gas and specialty gas systems.
Operations and Maintenance
- First line of troubleshooting skill and lead in gas systems’ issues/incidents and resolution.
- Oversee TGM’s daily operations and system maintenance including gas topping up, pallets/cylinder change out.
- Ensure TGM’s daily operations are performed in a safe, orderly and timely manner.
- In charge of tracking capacities of gas system and make recommendations for additional capacity when required.
- Track and manage inventory of spare gas cabinets, VMB and VMPs.
- Develop spare parts list and budget for gas systems. Raise Purchase Requisitions on time for long lead items.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute warm-down projects and annual testing.
- Perform and update FMEAs on your systems.
- Develop and review procedures to ensure all major activities are covered by procedure.
- Develop and review daily alarm logs and operating trends for your systems. Monitor system up time and proactively prevent issues. Monitor for “out of control” and “out of specification” conditions to correct and document as required.
- Ensure gas delivery with proper COA documentation
- Manage TGM weekly management reports
- Assist Facilities Manager in reviewing different projects and operational activities in order to improve existing practices.
Qualifications and work experience
- An engineering degree with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in a wafer-fab or related industry. Diploma / ITE holders with many years of relevant working experience may be considered too.
- Good working knowledge and experience in Operation and Maintenance of Gas Distribution Systems for Semiconductor Fabrication Plants
- Familiar with the local codes from BCA, URA, SCDF/FSB, NEA and other statutory requirements
- Able to work independently
- Analytical skills to trouble-shoot Bulk and Specialty Gas Systems.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good Team Player.
- Excellent communication skills.
