Job Summary

Facilities Administration:

  • Source for FM-related work vendors.
  • Raise PRs for FM-related work.
  • Apply for Jurong Island temporary passes for FM contractors.
  • Goods Receipt (GR) all FM work done.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all departmental documents to support audits and other regulatory or operational requirements.

 

Contract Management:

  • Prepare tender specifications/requirements and manage the entire tender process.
  • Oversee projects from the implementation stage to the closing stage.
  • Manage IFM/MA and term contractors.

 

Project Management:

  • Conduct utilities assessments and feasibility studies for R&D equipment and lab setups.
  • Ensure proper facility installations and renovations are carried out on-site.
  • Manage the repair and maintenance (R&M) of all FM systems.
  • Plan and track all maintenance works to ensure FM equipment is in good working condition.
  • Cover all FM-related systems.
  • Carry out other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned by management.

 

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Plan, establish, and execute preventive maintenance contracts/works.
  • Escort vendors/contractors as needed.
  • Attend to faults and customer feedback arising from day-to-day operations.
  • Investigate root causes of failures and provide timely and constructive updates to all stakeholders.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Constantly review and adopt new technologies.
  • Suggest improvements to existing systems and work processes.
  • Explore and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Build rapport with internal and external customers to improve customer satisfaction.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building/facility maintenance and services.
  • Experience in handling and supervising service personnel in lab environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with procurement/tender processes and project management skills.
  • Independent, possess good team spirit, and willingness to learn and take on more responsibilities as needed.
