Job Description

The Singapore Health Technologies consortium (HealthTEC.SG) is a national platform that has been integrated with the Biomedical Sciences Industry Partnership Office (BMSIPO), the national public-private R&D partnership office dedicated to support strategic biomedical sciences and healthcare companies. HealthTEC.SG/BMSIPO facilitate translational research collaborations and partnerships between academia, research and healthcare institutions, and therapeutics and medtech companies.

 

The opening is for a role as a Senior Manager/Assistant Director in HealthTEC.SG/BMSIPO’s MedTech team, which manages relationships and drives R&D partnerships with MedTech multi-national companies (MNCs) as well as local MedTech companies. The candidate will be offered a 1.5-year contract.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the organisation and co-ordination of MedTech events (conferences & showcases, workshops, networking sessions), including coordinating with various stakeholders and overseeing event logistics.
  • Drive BMSIPO’s marketing and publicity efforts online, including preparing marketing and publicity materials for events and developing content for online channels (eg. social media and website).
  • Support leadership in developing, monitoring and reporting indicators and outcomes from events and online marketing efforts.
  • Other ad-hoc duties to support HealthTEC.SG/BMSIPO initiatives, including engagements with industry.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Healthcare, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, or MedTech/HealthTech. Prior experience in project management or events will be an advantage.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing, adaptable and flexible to perform required/necessary tasks beyond the job description.
  • Self-starter and problem solver who is proactive, quality conscious and results oriented.
