We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team in optical radiometry and photometry for advancing precision measurement and metrology. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and conducting experimental activities in the optical laboratory, with responsibilities of designing experiments, conducting detailed measurements, acquiring data, and performing in-depth analyses.

This position offers a unique opportunity to design and implement state-of-the-art optical measurement systems for various applications - contributing directly to the supporting and advancement of Singapore’s national metrology capabilities and innovation ecosystem.
The Responsibilities:
- Optical radiometry - optical sensors spectral responsivity characterization, light source characterzation, optical property of material characterization, etc
- Photometry - lighting characterization, color measurement, etc
- Develop and maintain optical measurement standards to support industry needs
The Requirement:
- Qualification and field of study : Background in Optics or Physics
- Minimum experience: more than 2 years hands on experience on optics or physics experiments would be prefered
Skills and Competencies Requirement:
- Able to conduct optical measurement and analyses of data.
- Knowledge and experience in optical measurements are required.
- Good knowledge in computer programming for instrument control and statistical techniques would be an added advantage.
- Enthusiastic, highly self-motivated attitude and being able to work in multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a team
- Good communication skills
