Job Purpose

Responsible for leading the management and continual enhancement of the organisation’s Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and Microsoft 365 workplace platforms. The role focuses on Microsoft Intune, endpoint security, device compliance, and modern workplace services, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant operations across enterprise environments.

The role oversees crossplatform device management (Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android) and drives the delivery, governance, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services under Desktop Infrastructure (Workspace Platform).

Key Responsibilties

  • Own endtoend workplace endpoint services, including Microsoft Intune, covering device enrolment, configuration, application deployment, endpoint security, and compliance.
  • Drive service performance against SLAs/XLAs, with a focus on Day1 onboarding and user experience outcomes.
  • Govern endpoint security aligned with enterprise architecture, including Conditional Access, device compliance, and endpoint protection policies.
  • Define and enforce endpoint standards, lifecycle governance, and configuration baselines across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Monitor endpoint health and ensure operational stability through effective incident, service request, and problem management.
  • Govern Microsoft 365 collaboration services, balancing usability, compliance, and enterprise controls.
  • Define and execute platform roadmaps and transformation initiatives aligned to the digital workplace strategy.
  • Establish and maintain service governance, policies, and documentation to support scalable operations.
  • Support security incident response and audit activities, including investigation, remediation, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure integrated and secure service delivery aligned to business needs.
  • Drive automation and engineering practices to improve scalability, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Manage platform costs, licensing, and lifecycle investments, with a focus on cost optimisation and value realisation.
  • Lead adoption and change management initiatives to maximise the value of workplace platforms.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years experience managing enterprise UEM and Microsoft 365 workplace platforms.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, endpoint compliance, and application deployment.
  • Proven experience in service ownership, vendor management, and largescale endpoint operations.
  • Deep technical knowledge of UEM technologies, including Intune and Entra ID.
  • Solid experience in endpoint security, lifecycle management, and enterprisescale platform operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration; scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell) are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into platform solutions.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in a fastpaced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Selfdriven, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, automation, and usercentric delivery.
