About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Assistant Director to lead enterprise AI tool adoption, change management, and governance within the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO). In this role, you will serve as the organizational focal point for managing incoming AI tool support requests, policy clarifications, and usage governance. You will design and execute robust change management strategies to accelerate AI tool adoption across research institutes and corporate groups while ensuring all initiatives align with public sector governance, data security, and ethical guidelines. By bridging policy oversight with proactive change leadership, you will empower teams across the organization to safely and effectively integrate cutting-edge AI capability into their core operations.

What You Will Do

• Strategic AI Request Management & Support: Establish and lead the workflow for triaging, evaluating, and resolving organizational inquiries and clarification requests regarding AI tools, usage boundaries, and platform capabilities.
• Enterprise Change Management & Adoption Strategy: Formulate and execute comprehensive adoption roadmaps, literacy frameworks, and targeted change management campaigns to drive sustainable AI tool uptake across all business and research units.
• AI Governance & Policy Leadership: Serve as a key advisor on AI governance, partnering with central IT and policy teams to translate enterprise guardrails, data safety standards, and risk policies into clear operational guidance for end-users.
• Senior Stakeholder Alignment: Engage HODs, Directors, and Principal Investigators to align AI support services with organizational priorities and address specific divisional adoption challenges.
• Continuous Process & Support Enhancement: Monitor adoption metrics, gather executive and end-user feedback, and collaborate with tech delivery partners to continuously improve tool availability and operational workflows.

What You Will Bring

• Experience: 8–10+ years of experience in tech adoption, digital transformation, change management, or public sector innovation, including a track record of leading cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
• AI Tools & Governance Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise AI tools, workflow platforms, and practical experience navigating AI governance, risk management, and data policy frameworks.
• Strategic Change Leadership: Proven capability to design and implement enterprise-scale change management initiatives, learning programs, and stakeholder engagement models.
• Executive Communication & Influence: Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the capability to interface confidently with senior leadership, simplify complex governance policies, and drive organizational consensus.
• Adaptability & Strategic Vision: Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, balance policy compliance with user enablement, and lead initiatives in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related field. Professional certifications in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI), AI Governance, or Agile Leadership are highly desirable.
