Job Summary

Role Summary

The role serves as the key liaison between Infrastructure Group stakeholders and the Central Procurement Unit. The role supports procurement planning, coordination, contract administration, and governance to ensure the timely, efficient, and compliant acquisition of goods and services required for infrastructure operations and projects.

This role complements the Central Procurement Unit by partnering Infrastructure Group stakeholders to facilitate smooth end-to-end procurement and contract management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement and contract-related matters within Infrastructure Group.
  • Partner with stakeholders to plan procurement requirements, advise on appropriate procurement approaches, and ensure timely submission of procurement requests.
  • Coordinate with the Central Procurement Unit, Finance, and project teams to facilitate efficient procurement processes and contract administration.
  • Review procurement submissions to ensure completeness, quality, and compliance with organisational policies and governance requirements.
  • Monitor procurement pipelines, contract renewals, and key milestones to support business continuity and project delivery.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of contracts, including contract formulation, execution, administration, variation management, renewals, and close-out.
  • Develop, review, and implement contract management policies, procedures, and standard operating processes to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure procurement and contract administration are conducted in accordance with Government procurement policies, internal governance requirements, and applicable legislation.
  • Maintain procurement and contract records, including the contract repository, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline procurement and contract management processes and improve operational efficiency across Infrastructure Group.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in procurement, contract management, project coordination, facilities management, or infrastructure-related functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement governance and contract management principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
