Job Summary
The candidate will play a key role in safeguarding people, assets, and intellectual property by overseeing the implementation, operations, and continuous improvement of security systems, infrastructure, and policies.
Strategic Security Planning & Governance
- Support the development and implementation of a proactive, risk-based security strategy aligned with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the continuous review and enhancement of security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance.
Operations & Infrastructure Management
- Manage the day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance, perimeter protection, incident response, and emergency preparedness.
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of security technologies and systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and visitor management platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, research entities, government agencies, landlord security teams, and external security service providers to deliver integrated and effective security solutions.
- Support awareness and training initiatives to strengthen security culture and compliance across the organisation.
Incident & Risk Management
- Conduct security risk assessments, scenario planning, and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Coordinate and support incident response activities, including investigation, documentation, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
Project & Technology Implementation
- Support security design reviews for new facilities, refurbishments, and infrastructure projects, ensuring security requirements are integrated from planning through operations.
- Evaluate and implement emerging security technologies and innovations to improve protection, operational efficiency, and situational awareness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Approximately 6–8 years of relevant experience in security operations, corporate security, protective services, crisis management, or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience managing security operations, systems, or projects within complex organisational environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication, coordination, and incident management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), Certified Security Operations Manager (CSOM), Specialised Diploma in Security Consultancy, or equivalent credentials will be an advantage.
