Job Description

This position sits within the Infrastructure Portfolio Management team which drives the stewardship, performance, and long-term sustainability of A*STAR’s infrastructure portfolios.

This team oversees the portfolio strategy, resource allocation, investment planning, lifecycle management and value realisation across key asset groups (e.g., real estate and occupancy, building assets and systems), ensuring infrastructure resources are deployed effectively to support organisational priorities and business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

As a core member of the team, your responsibilities include:

• Drives portfolio performance, sustainability, and value delivery across assigned infrastructure asset classes
• Develops portfolio strategies, investment roadmaps, and business plans to optimise long-term enterprise outcomes
• Drives utilisation, productivity, and cost optimisation initiatives across infrastructure assets
• Establishes portfolio governance frameworks, performance indicators, and management reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Engages stakeholders to build alignment around portfolio priorities, investment decisions, and operating models

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in portfolio management, asset management, infrastructure planning, consulting, or related fields
• Prior experience in managing infrastructure, real estate, facilities, asset, capital investment, or other resource-intensive portfolios would be advantageous
• Demonstrated experience developing business cases, managing investment portfolios, and leading resource allocation decisions
• Strong systems thinking skills, with the ability to understand interdependencies across demand, capacity, costs and risks
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate investment options, manage budgets, and assess trade-offs
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to navigate ambiguity, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
