Description
Scientist / Senior Scientist – High-Speed TFLN Modulators & Photonic Heterogeneous Integration (PHI)
As part of IME’s Silicon Photonics Department, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing next-generation high-speed optical modulators based on Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) and Photonic Heterogeneous Integration (PHI) technologies. The work focuses on advancing TFLN-on-Silicon Photonics (SiPh) platforms for AI, data center, and next-generation optical interconnect applications beyond 400 Gbps per lane.
The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams spanning photonic device design, process integration, wafer fabrication, packaging, and testing, leveraging IME’s state-of-the-art 200 mm and 300 mm manufacturing facilities to develop scalable, manufacturing-ready photonic technologies.
