We are looking for a candidate with high-speed analog integrated circuit design skills to contribute to the development of optical I/O solutions for next-generation high-density optical interconnects. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and implementation of analog circuits for high-speed transmitter. The candidate will also work closely with the optics and advanced packaging teams on the electro/optical co-design as well as system integration and validation.
- Design and tapeout high-speed transmitter, including state-of-the-art circuit blocks, e.g. wideband pre-driver and driver, equalizers (CTLE, DFE) as part of the high-speed data link system
- Work together with team to investigate novel circuit/system solutions to create new inventions
Job Requirements
- Qualification & Field of Study: PhD degree in Electronic Engineering
- Min. Years of Experience: Minimum 3-years of transistor level analog circuit design experience with successful tapeout track record
Other Requirements (e.g. Skills, Competencies)
- Good understanding of CMOS analog IC design methodologies and successful tapeout experience
- Familiar with high-speed analog IC design and verification flow
- Industry experience would be a plus
- Familiar with the IC test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
- Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Able to generate high quality scientific publications and patents
- Team player, quick learner and self-driven
