Job Description and Requirements

This position will require research into the mechanism by which ciliary activity dictates the morphogenesis of a straight spine. Work will involve but is not limited to handling zebrafish adults and embryos, zebrafish genetics, microinjections, in situ hybridization, immunofluorescence staining and confocal microscopy, light and video microscopy to monitor ciliary motility, mammalian cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9 based gene editing, protein biochemistry and bioinformatics analyses. The candidate is expected to be passionate and independent and should actively participate in organizing data for manuscripts and present research findings at international conferences.
