Job Description
The project is related to exploration and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in design, analysis, discovery and validation of new ferroelectric and piezoelectric material for high-performance energy conversion or signal transmission functions. The materials particularly include ferroelectric and piezoelectric single crystals and thin films as demanded for producing competitive MEMES devices and ultrasonic transducers. The job scope covers design, growth, evaluation and analysis of ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials and related database generation for AI implementation, and relevant validation and demonstration.
Requirements:
• Ph.D in physics, material science, engineering; or a bachelor/master degree holder with expertise and skills related to data science (Scientist or Engineer position)
• Passion in creating new ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials, or application of AI in analyzing and discovering ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials.
• Any of R&D experience below: ferroelectric and piezoelectric characterization and analysis; data science, machine learning for design and validation of new materials; growth of piezoelectric single crystal; solid-state crystal growth; fabrication of ferroelectric thin films and ceramics.
• Good track record in technical publication, high performance record in university, or verifiable experience in the relevant areas as stated above.
