Job Summary
A*STAR Centre for Frontier AI Research (A*STAR CFAR) seeks a highly-motivated Research Scientist to conduct cutting-edge R&D in Generative and Embodied AI, involving transformer-based large language models and vision-language models (in collaboration with top local universities), with potential application to robotics.
The Research Scientist will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art algorithms and models leading to work that is publishable in top AI conferences and journals. Specifically, the work involves (but is not limited to) developing a deep-learning-based neurosymbolic framework for object and part representations, including geometric, physical, functional and semantic information.
Requirements are:
-- PhD in Computer Science from globally-renowned university
-- Stellar academic track record
-- Published peer-reviewed papers in reputable journals or conferences
-- Expertise in deep learning, computer vision, transformers and generative AI
-- Strong programming skills, especially with Pytorch or TensorFlow
