Job Description
A Postdoctoral Fellow / Scientist position is immediately available at the Stem Cells and Diabetes Laboratory, IMCB, A*STAR, Singapore. A/P Adrian Teo’s laboratory is interested in leveraging on human stem cell technology and human in vitro models to study mechanisms underlying diabetes and metabolic diseases. Qualifications / Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Stem Cells / Diabetes / Pancreas / Beta Cell / Metabolism disciplines or equivalent, awarded by an internationally recognized institution
- A good publication track record
- Extensive experience with mammalian stem cell culture, differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells and molecular biology techniques
- Experience with genome-editing techniques such as the CRISPR-Cas9 system will be valued
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Highly motivated, passion for science, committed to laboratory work and able to work flexible hours
- Ability to multitask, work independently and also as part of a team
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Experience in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation techniques, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Mass Spectrometry and bioinformatics will be valued
