Job Description

The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) is seeking a motivated Research Officer position to contribute to high-impact research on inflammation signalling and cancer biology. This position is offered in the Laboratory of Inflammation, Epigenetics and Translational Oncology which is interested in understanding the mechanisms of metastasis and treatment resistance in aggressive cancers during inflammation signalling. We focus on the discovery and characterization of novel oncology targets including long non-coding RNAs and epigenomics signatures in various solid and haematological malignancies, with a mission to catalyze a path towards targeted cancer treatments.

The successful candidate will be expected to be proficient in standard mammalian cell culture, mouse work, and perform a variety of molecular biology techniques including molecular cloning, PCR, western blotting, DNA extraction, RNA isolation, lentivirus production and transduction, and cell-based assays.
