Job Summary

We are seeking for candidates to work in a collaborative research environment focused on advancing therapeutic development for inflammatory skin diseases including atopic dermatitis. The successful candidates will be part of a multidisciplinary team driving translational research from mechanistic discovery through therapeutic evaluation, contributing to studies centered on dysregulated inflammatory pathways and skin barrier defects that underlie the pathology of multiple skin diseases.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct translational research in areas related to skin biology and inflammatory skin diseases.
  • Perform laboratory experiments involving mouse models, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, and related experimental techniques.
  • Engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary research projects with internal and external collaborators.
  • Analyze experimental data, interpret findings, and prepare reports, presentations, and scientific summaries of research outcomes.
  • Document all research activities accurately and maintain detailed and organized experimental records.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting, optimization, and development of experimental methodologies and laboratory workflows.
  • Support general laboratory operations including lab safety, maintenance, inventory management, and ordering of consumables and reagents.
  • Occasionally work flexible hours when required for animal work.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to evolving research priorities, and work effectively in a dynamic team-oriented environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience in mouse models, mammalian cell culture, and molecular biology techniques including ELISA, DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, and Western blotting.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation of experimental datasets.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and statistical software.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural research environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques and skills quickly.
  • Able to identify opportunities to improve workflows, optimize experimental methods, and contribute innovative approaches to research objectives.
  • Good organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail and scientific rigor.
