The A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (A*STAR IHDP) focuses on research that aims to improve and impact the health and well-being of Singaporeans across the life course.
The Human Development Group in Institute for Human Development and Potential conducts research on developmental cohorts as well as related studies in nutrition, metabolism and lifestyle interventions etc. The successful candidate will support research operations and project management for new and ongoing studies.
Job Responsibilities
· Assist with study recruitment, answer general enquiries on study and checking study eligibility
· Assist with obtaining informed consent in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible conduct of research (RCR) guidelines and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA)
· Scheduling of study visits
· Perform study measurements, data and biological sample collection accordingly to SOPs.
· Manage research study databases, including data queries
· Ensure accuracy & completeness of data collection
· Support project management
· Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nutrition or other healthcare disciplines, or Diploma in Nursing
· Trained in performing venepuncture and cannulation (preferred)
· Meticulous, possess good interpersonal and organisational skills
· Able to work independently, as well as in a team
