Job Title: Research Officer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Research Officer to join our research team at the RNA Therapeutics for Novel Therapeutics Lab. Our lab focuses on advancing the field of RNA therapeutics, with a strong emphasis on translational research aimed at clinical applications, while also fostering foundational discoveries in the delivery of RNA therapeutics. Our core technology platforms include rational design of antisense oligonucleotides and the development of innovative in vitro and in vivo methods for real-time and high-throughput functional delivery of RNA therapeutics. This position involves conducting cutting-edge research in the field of RNA therapeutics and will include handling of cell lines for in vitro molecular work as well as in vivo work with animal models (mice and rats) to support the early preclinical development of our translational pipelines for metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases as part of a vibrant team.

Qualifications:

BSc in a relevant field (e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related discipline).

Experience with molecular biology work and cell culture is a essential. Proficiency in handling animal models, or at least the ability to learn to handle animals, is a plus.

Proven track record of research productivity, including but not limited to publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
