Prof. Ashok Venkitaraman seeks a highly motivated Research Officer/Scientist to join his laboratory at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), A*STAR. The laboratory develops innovative technologies for discovering therapeutic ligands and targets in cancer and other diseases, integrating protein engineering, phage display, cell-based screening and mass-spectrometry-based ligand discovery platforms.

The successful candidate will contribute to projects focused on peptide ligand discovery, and cell-based functional screening of ligand libraries. The role offers the opportunity to work at the interface of molecular biology, protein engineering, and translational drug discovery.

The candidate will assist in designing and performing laboratory experiments under the supervision of the project lead, maintain accurate experimental records, and contribute to the development of new screening technologies.
