About the Role

Precision health is a key focus area under the RIE2030 Human Health and Potential domain. The National Precision Medicine (NPM) programme, launched in 2017, includes one of the largest multi-ethnic Asian cohorts with 100,000 participants in Singapore. The A*STAR-PRECISE Coordinating Office oversees and coordinates research collaborations between A*STAR research units and the NPM programme, working closely with PRECISE, public sector agencies, universities and healthcare clusters to advance precision health.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a research background and interest in programme administration to join the A*STAR-PRECISE Coordinating Office.

 

Key Responsibilities

  •         Manage research project progress, including basic grant administration, KPI tracking and stakeholder communications.
  •         Organise and provide logistical, publicity and administrative support for stakeholder engagement sessions and ecosystem-wide events.
  •         Provide secretariat support to programme committees, including meeting coordination, preparation of materials, minute‑taking and follow‑up on action items.
  •         Support the development and maintenance of partnerships with public sector agencies, universities, and hospitals to facilitate translational research.
  •         Assist in monitoring global scientific, industry and regulatory developments in precision health and preparing concise updates for the team.

Job Requirements

  •          Bachelor degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline (preferred).
  •         Some relevant experience (> 2 years) in research, research management, administration, business, innovation or related roles within the life sciences or biomedical ecosystem would be beneficial.
  •         Prior exposure to grants management, research administration, programme management or coordination will be an advantage.
  •         Able to work independently and as part of a team and values integrity and excellence.
  •         Able to manage multiple workstreams, problem solve and adapt to evolving priorities.
  •        Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  •         Meticulous and well‑organised, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow within a developing research and innovation programme.
