Description

The lab focuses on therapeutic target discovery and translational development for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), with a strong emphasis on siRNA-based therapeutics.

Our research integrates patient-derived multi-omics datasets with in vivo functional genetic screening and human in vitro disease models to systematically identify and validate clinically relevant therapeutic targets.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences or related fields
  • Prior experience in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture
  • Experience with hepatocyte models, metabolic disease, or RNA-based techniques is advantageous
  • Experience with animal work (mouse handling, injections, tissue collection) is a plus
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required but Advantageous)

  • Experience in liver disease or metabolic disease research
  • Experience with siRNA or gene knockdown approaches
  • Familiarity with histology or imaging-based assays
  • Experience working in translational or interdisciplinary research settings
