Description
The lab focuses on therapeutic target discovery and translational development for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), with a strong emphasis on siRNA-based therapeutics.
Our research integrates patient-derived multi-omics datasets with in vivo functional genetic screening and human in vitro disease models to systematically identify and validate clinically relevant therapeutic targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences or related fields
- Prior experience in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture
- Experience with hepatocyte models, metabolic disease, or RNA-based techniques is advantageous
- Experience with animal work (mouse handling, injections, tissue collection) is a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required but Advantageous)
- Experience in liver disease or metabolic disease research
- Experience with siRNA or gene knockdown approaches
- Familiarity with histology or imaging-based assays
- Experience working in translational or interdisciplinary research settings
