Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Officer to support drug discovery and validation work in ocular diseases. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.

 

The hired research officer will be involved in experimental design and execution of target validation studies, mainly in molecular and cellular biology workflows, mass spectrometry proteomics-based assays and data interpretation to support drug screening and validation. 
The hired research officer is responsible for disease model creation in cell lines, coordination of sample processing, assay optimization, validation of candidate targets in cell-based systems and functional readout, documentation of experimental workflows.

 

Requirements
• Bachelor's or master's degree in molecular biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Proteomics, or related disciplines. 
• Candidate should have experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and experimental validation workflows. Familiarity with mass spectrometry, proteomics, translational research, or drug discovery pipelines is advantageous. 
• Strong organizational skills, scientific writing ability, and capability to work independently in multidisciplinary research environments are preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and communicate scientific results effectively
