Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate (Junior Executive level) to support our in vivo pre-clinical research and product development programs. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, including animal studies, data collection, and experimental support across therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, and infectious diseases.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for in vivo pre-clinical studies and product development activities
  • Execute study plans according to established protocols in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform animal handling and procedures, including injections and tissue harvesting
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous data records in compliance with good documentation practices
  • Support preparation and maintenance of IACUC and IBC documentation
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and buffers; perform routine lab duties as required
  • Assist in laboratory operations including inventory management, procurement, equipment maintenance, logistics, and quality compliance
  • Undertake additional scientific tasks assigned by the reporting manager

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related disciplines

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with animal models and surgical procedures (e.g., injections, tissue collection)
  • Strong attention to detail with adherence to good documentation practices (GDP)
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Certification

  • RCULAC (Responsible Care and Use of Laboratory Animals Course) certification required

 

Soft Skills

  • Diligent, self-motivated, and highly driven
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team
  • Good communication and scientific reporting skills

 

Additional Requirements

  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must not own or handle certain animals as pets, including rodents (e.g., mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs), rabbits, chinchillas, or swine
