Job Description

The Structural Proteomics and Interactome platform at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), A*STAR Singapore seeks a highly motivated Research Officer to join the team. The position offers the opportunity to work on projects involving chemical cross-linking and mass spectrometry proteomics to investigate RNA-binding protein complexes. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and work on highly inter-disciplinary and collaborative projects.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related fields/disciplines
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative research team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability and willingness to learn wide variety of molecular biology techniques
• Experience with mass spectrometry proteomics is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with molecular cloning and mammalian cell culture preferred
