We are currently seeking a Research Officer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge optical spectroscopy device platform with innovative AI-analytics for skin health/Medtech applications and its clinical translation.
Job scope/responsibilities:
• Development of optical spectroscopy and imaging systems for clinical applications
• Develop data analytics and AI models
• Testing of developed spectroscopy/imaging system in phantoms
• Take part in clinical study in hospitals (data collection and analysis) for the translation of the developed systems
• Support the team in preparing and managing research ethics documentation and protocols, as well as managing general lab procurement processes.
• Present study concepts, experimental results, new findings to the management team and the research team members
Job requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Optical Engineering or in related field
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience is preferred
• Proven experience in optical system development for biomedical applications and validation is preferred
• Familiar with AI models and experience on AI algorithm development for image/spectral analysis
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python, Solid works, Zemax, and ANSYS is highly beneficial
• Strong English communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Meticulous and highly organized
• Industry working experience is advantageous
• Clinical projects may involve data collection from female subjects at certain hospitals. Therefore, female staff may be required to participate in the data collection process using the developed optical systems.
