Photonics Test Engineer

As part of NSTIC Silicon Photonics team, the candidate will be involved in the development of testing capability for advanced photonic devices, such as passive photonic devices and optoelectronic devices. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team working on advanced photonics technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and perform wafer-level tester for photonic devices
• Perform routine measurement tasks of fiber array alignment, calibration, electrical probe (DC probes, RF probes)
• Develop advanced testing capabilities to improve efficiency, including automated wafer-level measurements, calibration flow/routine
• Perform data analysis and documentation for development of in-house PDK
• Laboratory management including facilities, health and safety, equipment calibration, inventory and stocktake, procurement activities
• Collaborate with project team to ensure quality and on-time delivery for various projects
