Job description
-Develop and innovate critical photonics heterogeneous III-V integration modules. Drive multi-functional teams to optimize existing process flows and develop new innovative integration solutions to meet potential product requirements and manufacturability.
-Develop or redefine critical criteria/aspects for optimal design performances and process capability. Initiate DOE (Design of Experiments) evaluations to characterize process window for new design/product requirements
-Pro-active in evaluating and implementing new integration schemes. Establish proof of concept for future tech roadmap.
-Take on an active attitude to summarize complex problems, explain actions taken to address them with clarity, and align with unit process, design and fabrication teams.
-Extract and analyse inline, GDS layout, parametric, reliability, and other critical metrics to construct predictive modelling on the photonics device performance and specification.
-Coordinate activities with multi-functional teams to ensure timely wafers handling to meet deadline requirements.
-Require certain amount of working time in research fab/cleanroom environment for experiment and data collection.
Job Requirement
-Degree or Master in Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or equivalent.
-Experience in semiconductor lasers/photodetectors design especially the familiarity with indium phosphide active device design—such as epitaxial layer stacks, cavity structures, and related aspects is highly preferred.
-Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
-Able to work in clean room environment.
-Able to work with cross-functional team, with good communication/presentation skill.
-Able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
