Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology deployment projects with industry partners. The role will manage the end-to-end execution of projects focused on developing and implementing advanced manufacturing and repair technologies for aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations.

The Project Manager will work closely with industry partners, research engineers, and technology teams to ensure projects deliver industrial impact, operational readiness, and scalable deployment.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end management of aerospace MRO technology projects from problem definition through development, validation and industrialisation.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of researchers, engineers and industry partners to ensure timely project execution.
  • Track project progress and manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans.

Industrialisation 

  • Drive deployment of new capabilities, including equipment, processes, and digital solutions.
  • Translate industry operational needs into technology development roadmaps and implementation strategies.
  • Oversee technology validation, readiness assessments and scale-up for shopfloor deployment.
  • Support technology transfer into operational environments.

Industry Collaboration

  • Serve as the key interface between research teams and our quality industry partners.
  • Co-develop project scope, technical objectives, and success metrics with partners.
  • Facilitate regular project reviews and governance meetings with stakeholders.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master degree in any Engineering, or Project management related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in engineering environment
  • PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and external industry stakeholders.
  • Experience managing technology development projects from concept to industrial implementation.
  • Good business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate technical and operational challenges.
