- Develop and maintain robust project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, resource plans and other project management documentation required for effective project execution.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies and potential roadblocks, and work with project teams and stakeholders to develop mitigation and recovery plans before they impact delivery.
- Take initiative in resolving project challenges and escalating issues appropriately, with clear assessment of the situation, potential impact and recommended next steps.
- Partner closely with researchers, engineers, technical leads, management, customers and external collaborators to establish clear project objectives, deliverables, responsibilities and expectations.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn new technologies, processes and subject areas, particularly when managing projects outside one's existing domain expertise.
- Facilitate project meetings and reviews, ensuring discussions are outcome-focused, decisions are documented and actions are actively followed through to closure.
- Support project closure, including assessment of project outcomes, lessons learnt, documentation and transition or handover of project deliverables where applicable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project lifecycle management processes, tools, templates and best practices, and promote good project management discipline across project teams.
- Support broader programme and PMO activities where required, including portfolio reporting, resource planning, process improvement and cross-project coordination.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and manage stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.
- A collaborative team player who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment while also being able to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
