Job Description

·            Responsible for leading and managing the full life cycle R&D projects and product delivery by planning, organizing, executing and evaluating from conception to completion.

·            Lead project scoping with internal and external stakeholders to establish communication plans, build project schedules, establish clear project deliverables and milestones, and technical/research outcome definitions.

·            Ensure successful delivery of project scope and targets while managing project risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, and budget.

·            Direct and contribute to design, development, and delivery of R&D solutions to customers with respect to requirements and scope

·            Active leadership of motivating and facilitating research rigour across multiple research institute project teams to achieve research and technical goals and outcomes

·            Lead and drive quality, procurement, finance and legal challenges

·            Provide research/technical input towards and drive design / process validation testing, best practices and ensure compliance to project lifecycle governance requirements

·            Actively demonstrate a good level of understanding and contribute to technical / scientific research & development and lead teams throughout the project development.

·            Lead, monitor and report the progress of the multiple projects to all internal and external stakeholders.

·            Apply core technical/scientific knowledge to intervene and address technical/research roadblocks, achieve project deliverables and mitigate risks and impact.

·            Interact with industry and grantors to ensure effective communication throughout the project life cycle covering business, project, and technical/research outcomes

 

Job Requirements

·            Bachelor or Masters in any engineering / project management related discipline

·           At least 5 years of project management experience in product development or research project would be preferable

·           PMP certifications (or equivalent) or experience in semiconductor will be advantageous

·           Good business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines

·           Proactive team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers

·           Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
