Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery aligned with organizational goals.
Key responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Execute projects according to defined timelines and budgets
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
Stakeholder Management
- Identify and engage key stakeholders
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively
- Manage expectations and resolve conflicts
Team Coordination
- Lead cross-functional teams and assign tasks
- Foster collaboration and accountability
- Provide guidance and support to team members
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans
- Proactively resolve issues to minimize project impact
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and requirements
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations
- Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions
Budget & Resource Management
- Track project budgets and expenditures
- Optimize resource utilization
- Prepare financial forecasts and reports
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 3–8+ years of project management experience (varies by level)
- Experience managing cross-functional or technical projects preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana)
- Knowledge of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent
