Manager/Senior Manager for Technology-Business Development Manager, Semiconductor

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our Technology-Business Development department. In this role, you will acts as a bridge between cutting-edge technology and strategic business growth.

Core Responsibilities
1. Technology Scouting & Market Trend Analysis
Monitor emerging technologies (e.g. GaN, SiC, Silicon Photonics, Advanced Packaging etc.).
Assess market demand and timing for new semiconductor solutions.
Identify white spaces or new verticals (e.g., automotive, datacenter, industrial IoT) for existing or upcoming technologies.
2. Customer Engagement & Solution Positioning
Meet with prospective customers to understand their technical roadmaps and pain points.
Propose tailored semiconductor solutions, could be IPs, process nodes, or platforms.
Translate complex technical features into business benefits.
3. Strategic Partnership Development
Identify and build partnerships with foundries, tool vendors, design houses, or ecosystem players.
Structure joint development agreements, co-marketing efforts, or pilot programs.
4. New Market & Product Opportunity Development
Evaluate business cases for investing in new research proposal or technology platforms.
Collaborate with Technology Development Team to shape development priorities based on customer and market input.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with accounts team, marketing, legal, and technology development teams to ensure alignment across research & development and commercial efforts.
Key Skills and Experience
Education: Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Technical Background: Strong understanding of semiconductor technology (knowledge on Semiconductor Fab Operation will be a plus).
Business Acumen: Ability to build and negotiate complex deals.
Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Strategic Thinking: Understand how emerging technologies create long-term competitive advantage.
