Since 2003, A*STAR's Growing Enterprises through Technology Upgrade (GET-Up) programme has helped our local enterprises to strategise, adopt technologies and upgrade their in-house capabilities. Start your technology and innovation journey with us today through the following initiatives:
- Technology for Enterprise Capability Upgrading (T-Up): Enables companies to tap on A*STAR’s scientific talent pool for development of technical capabilities and new products/services.
- Technical Advisory (TA): Provides technical guidance by A*STAR technical advisors on technology upgrading strategies and competence and knowledge in technical areas.
The Manager/ Senior Manager plays a critical role in supporting the functions of GET-Up, which includes the following:
- Promote A*STAR research entities and IHLs capabilities and the GET-Up Programme to local enterprises and explore collaborations to enhance their technological capabilities.
- Collaborating with A*STAR's research entities, IHLs and other government agencies to ensure the smooth execution of the GET-Up Programme.
- Disseminate grant calls to local enterprises and administer proposal submissions for relevant reviews by expert panels, councils, etc.
- Assist in the processing of grant applications and claim submissions.
- Establish critical operating systems and processes for the Programme’s functions.
- Establish relevant guidelines in governing grant management and administration.
- Analyse critical statistics and provide critical summary for management’s planning.
- Follow up with relevant grant applicants on LOAs received, ensure T&C of LOAs are complied.
- Follow up with relevant grant applicants on Fund Requisition and Progress Reports.
- Follow up with relevant grant applicants on processing of variation requests of projects.
- Perform proper documentation of critical documents on approvals, projects, reports, etc.
Requirements:
- A good knowledge of STEM or life sciences discipline.
- Experience in a grant management role in a public sector agency would be advantageous.
- Able to work and communicate with public sector partners effectively, and familiar with the work processes in the public sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, including research leaders.
- Strong attention to details, e.g., grants terms and conditions
- Good knowledge on software tools such as Words, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Good problem solving, analytical and systems thinking abilities.
- Experience in data analytics and visualisation tools (Tableau/Power BI) will be an advantage.
- Resourceful and independent.
