Job Description
The Manager, RCA & Licensing Operations and Governance Support will support the smooth execution, transition and ongoing stabilisation of Research Collaboration Agreement (RCA) and technology licensing operations. The role will provide hands-on operational, governance and process support to help maintain workflow discipline, compliance, data quality, operational reporting and audit readiness across RCA and licensing activities.
The Manager will work closely with colleagues within the team, sector-facing stakeholders, Tech-Biz Officers and other internal parties to support baseline process adoption, operational monitoring, policy alignment and continuous improvement of RCA and licensing workflows.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer RCA and licensing workflows, including documentation, routing, tracking and follow-up.
- Maintain records, trackers and key reporting obligations.
- Support process compliance, SOP updates, guidance materials and governance checks.
- Enable adoption of baseline RCA and licensing processes.
- Monitor workflow issues, exceptions and bottlenecks, escalating where required.
- Support audit readiness, risk reporting and data validation activities.
- Maintain critical information registers and One TechBiz Workplace content.
- Prepare concise updates, summaries and materials for management review.
Candidates should have:
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Finance or a related discipline.
- Preferably 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience in operations, governance, compliance, contract administration, technology transfer, research administration or business process support.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional workflows in a research, public sector, governance or regulated environment.
- Strong documentation, compliance checking, operational reporting and data management skills.
- Meticulous and structured, with strong follow-through, judgement and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, SharePoint or workflow systems would be advantageous.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear updates and issue summaries.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, work with sensitive information and adapt to evolving processes.
