About the Role
Precision Health is a key strategic focus under Singapore's RIE2030 Human Health and Potential domain. The National Precision Medicine (NPM) programme, launched in 2017, includes one of the world's largest multi-ethnic Asian population cohorts, comprising 100,000 participants in Singapore.
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Manager to join the Research Planning & Partnerships team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to nationally significant precision health initiatives while working closely with researchers, clinicians, healthcare institutions, universities, public sector agencies, and funding partners.
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable professional with strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development experience. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator, capable of building relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, coordinating multiple workstreams, and supporting strategic initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring of research programmes and strategic initiatives related to the precision health.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting requirements to ensure successful programme execution.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across healthcare institutions, universities, public sector agencies, and funding bodies.
- Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional collaborations to support programme objectives and partnership initiatives.
- Organise and support stakeholder engagement activities, workshops, governance meetings, and ecosystem-wide events.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials for leadership, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor developments in precision medicine, genomics, healthcare innovation, and related policy or regulatory landscapes, and provide concise updates to support strategic planning.
- Identify potential issues and risks, proactively propose solutions, and adapt effectively to evolving priorities and programme needs.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, partnership management or research administration within the healthcare, biomedical, research, or innovation sectors.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations, briefing papers, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment, taking ownership of initiatives, and partnering effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, agile, resourceful, and adaptable, with a positive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
