A*STAR Institute of Microelectronics (A*STAR IME) is a national research institute under the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). We drive innovation in advanced packaging, silicon photonics, piezoMEMS, power electronics, RF GaN, flat optics, and integrated circuit design. We are looking for a resourceful and motivated individual to join our dynamic team.  As a member of the Corporate Service team, you shall conduct Export control management, Risk management and ensuring compliance to A*STAR policies and procedures.  This role includes, but is not limited to the following:

Job Description:

• Familiar with research security, export controls, regulations.
• Communicate with various A*STAR stakeholders and vendors to enforce export controls requirements and compliance.
• Ability to compile, review and analyse Key Risk Indicators (KRI), as part of regular reporting to A*STAR ERM Office. Based on the KRI compiled, assist in the preparation of Risk Reports.
• Ability to conduct audits to ensure compliance.
• Able to maintain a high level of staff awareness via staff training, sharing session and regular eDMs.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned. 
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• Related certifications or good understanding on EAR/ ITAR will be advantages
• A resourceful individual with active listening skills to gather information and anticipate next steps.
• A motivated individual with clear communication skills for stakeholder and management reporting.
