Job Description

Lead Fab equipment engineering teams to ensure high tool uptime, reliability, and stable manufacturing operations. Drive preventive/predictive maintenance, optimize equipment performance, resolve chronic tool issues, and support yield and cost‑reduction projects. Oversee tool installations, upgrades, safety compliance, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor equipment engineers/technicians
• Improve MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and cost‑of‑ownership
• Execute PM/CM programs and data‑driven troubleshooting
• Lead root-cause analysis and cross‑functional problem solving
• Handle spare parts, budgets, and vendor relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
• 8–12+ years semiconductor equipment experience; 3–5+ years leadership
• Strong knowledge of frontend fab or backend toolsets and reliability engineering
• Proficient in SPC, FDC, and equipment analytics
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• Lean/Six Sigma/TPM experience is an advantage
