The Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) is seeking exceptional early-career researchers to join our GIS Fellows Programme. We welcome outstanding PhD and MD/M.B.B.S. graduates with the potential to develop into world-class researchers and future leaders in genomics and biomedical science.
Key Responsibilities
As a GIS Fellow, you will:
- Set up and drive your own research projects in translational and/or strategic areas of genomics, with support from GIS faculty and scientific mentors.
- Be hosted in a laboratory of your choice and collaborate across multidisciplinary research teams.
- Leverage GIS’s advanced research capabilities, technologies, and scientific expertise.
- Build collaborations and contribute to high-impact research that advances genomics and human health.
Requirements
- PhD, MD/M.B.B.S., or equivalent qualification in genomics, genetics, biomedical sciences, computational biology, medicine, or a related field.
- Strong track record of research excellence, with publications or other evidence of scientific achievement.
- Demonstrated potential for independent and innovative research.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
