Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. First line troubleshooting for equipment related issues
2. Execute scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance and Post PM process recovery
3. Responsible for equipment uptime and liaison with process control team and equipment vendors for resolving escalations and SPC deviation.
4. Works with process module development team, process control team and vendor to ensure flawless operations.
5. Support internal audits as needed for ISO certification.
6. Support CIP (continuous improvement projects) to improve reliability and efficiency 
7. Prepare shift reports and handover notes
8. Follow EHS and cleanroom safety standards
9. Maintain proper documentation and housekeeping (6S, TPM)

Job Requirements
1. Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering, Science, or related disciplines
2. Able to communicate fluently in English
3. Preferably with minimum 2 years of semiconductor equipment engineering experience (AMAT, ASML, Bruker, Ebara, Evatec, EVG, KLA, LAM, MATTSON, Nikon, SPTS, TEL, Veeco etc.) with hands-on equipment troubleshooting experience
4. Systematic and logical thinking.
5. Strong discipline in following SOPs, quality standards, and EHS requirements
6. Physically able to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods (12 hours shift), including standing and gowning requirement1
7. Willing to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays
8. Good attention to detail and committed to data accuracy and integrity
9. Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams
10. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a sense of ownership and responsibility
11. Basic computer literacy (MES systems, data entry, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint or similar tools)

Additional Requirements (for Senior Technician)
12. Experience handling multiple Semiconductor toolsets with >10 years experience or more
13. Exposure to yield improvement, DOE runs, or engineering experiments
14. Ability to mentor junior technicians and support training activities
15. Familiarity with fab automation systems (e.g., FOUP handling, stockers, sorters)

16. Basic understanding of SPC, FMEA.
 
17. Lead in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
