Job Description

Scope of Responsibilities and Deliverables 

  1. Oversees and coordinates ecosystem activities for quantum technologies:
  1. Supports the Executive Director of the National Quantum Office in developing and executing a go-to-industry strategy that will support the growth of a vibrant quantum ecosystem in Singapore.
  2. Leads engagements with strategic industry stakeholders such as semiconductor manufacturers, foundries, equipment suppliers, and quantum hardware companies to develop partnerships and strengthen Singapore’s quantum ecosystem.
  3. Drives industry collaborations with our national-level quantum programmes such as the National Quantum Federated Foundry, and coordinate with the Singapore’s ecosystem to secure stakeholders’ support.
  4. Maintains a positive and productive relationship with partners, resolving partnership and technical issues on behalf of the Executive Director.
  5. Provides market intelligence and industry insights to the Executive Director, with emphasis on semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, foundry operations, and supply chains within the broader context of quantum technologies.
  6. Represents the Executive Director at various stakeholder platforms on ecosystem development matters.

 

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. At least 10 years of working experience in a similar capacity. Direct experience working with semiconductor foundries, integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), fabless companies, equipment suppliers, other semiconductor ecosystem stakeholders, or quantum hardware companies would be advantageous.
  3. Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes, manufacturing ecosystems, supply chains, and technology development roadmaps. Exposure to quantum technologies would be advantageous.
  4. Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills for good relationship management.
  5. Strong problem solving, analytical and systems thinking abilities
  6. Resourceful and independent
  7. Able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
