About NATi

The Nucleic Acid Therapeutics Initiative (NATi), hosted by A*STAR, is Singapore’s national platform dedicated to advancing RNA-based medicines and revolutionizing drug and vaccine development. NATi’s mission is to establish Singapore as a globally recognized hub of excellence in nucleic acid therapeutics research, clinical translation, and commercialization.

NATi focuses on key RNA modalities such as antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), small interfering RNA (siRNA), and messenger RNA (mRNA). To drive this vision, NATi is building a biotech-like translational engine focused on asset and technology development spanning discovery to clinical development.

Joining NATi offers a rare opportunity to build and scale the data and digital capabilities that support a national R&D platform. We are looking for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy creating solutions from the ground up, and are motivated by the opportunity to enable world-class science through technology, data and innovation.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and delivery-oriented Data & Digital Systems Manager to strengthen NATi's scientific and corporate data and systems foundation. The role will serve as a key coordinator for NATi's data, systems and digital platforms, supporting their effective use, maintenance and continuous improvement. He/she will help establish fit-for-purpose governance, improve data visibility and information management, and deliver practical automation and workflow enhancements aligned with organisational needs and A*STAR requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, user guidance and records relating to systems, data and digital processes.
  • Deliver selected reporting, dashboard and workflow automation improvements that address priority needs and demonstrate near-term operational value.
  • Administer and maintain controls relating to user access, role changes, onboarding, offboarding, records management and periodic reviews in alignment with A*STAR requirements.
  • Monitor system usage, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support the implementation of enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Oversee vendor coordination and contract administration activities for relevant platforms and services.
  • Support emerging organisational priorities and initiatives as required, contributing to NATi's continued growth and development.

Qualification and Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital systems, data management, technology-enabled operations, business transformation, or related fields.
  • Experience administering, implementing, or supporting scientific and enterprise platforms, including electronic laboratory notebooks (Benchling preferred), laboratory information management systems (LIMS), SharePoint, workflow automation, data management, or cloud-based environments.
  • Experience working in scientific R&D, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical development, healthcare, research, or other regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of data governance, information lifecycle management, access management, system documentation, and operational controls.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering digital transformation, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled initiatives that improve organisational effectiveness, workflow efficiency, or user experience.
  • Experience engaging and coordinating with users, system owners, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, support platform implementation, governance and adoption, and deliver practical technology-enabled solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot, AI-enabled workflow tools, or related digital transformation technologies.

Other Desirable Skills
