A*STAR directs and undertakes mission-oriented research to transform Singapore into a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy.  The AIR Group advances this mission by developing research talent through the A*STAR Graduate Academy (AGA), fostering global collaborations via the International Partnerships Office (IPO), and ensuring strong research governance and grant oversight through the Research Office (RO). Together, AIR Group builds talent, partnerships and research excellence across A*STAR.

We are looking for a resourceful, innovative, and solution-oriented professional to join AIR Group's Digitalisation Team to drive digital transformation and automation initiatives across the organisation. The role focuses on leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, AI technologies, scripting, and data solutions to address business challenges, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user experience. The successful candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify pain points, shape technology-enabled solutions, and deliver impactful digital products and automation workflows that support AIR's strategic objectives and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement digital solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain applications, workflows, and automations using Power Apps, Power Automate, and other technologies.
• Build dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI.
• Develop and manage SharePoint Online sites, forms, workflows, and collaboration solutions.
• Perform data integration, migration, cleansing, validation, and automation across multiple systems and platforms.
• Explore and implement AI, Generative AI, OCR, and other emerging technologies to enhance business outcomes.
• Develop scripts and integrations using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solution recommendations, deliver projects, and support user adoption.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience in digitalisation, automation, application development, or business systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint Online.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Good understanding of data integration, automation workflows, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Self-driven, innovative, and passionate about leveraging technology to solve business challenges.
