Job Description
RTC is seeking a proactive and strategic Tech-Biz Manager to drive industry partnerships with consortium members, new business opportunities, and supplier development initiatives in support of aerospace sector transformation (manufacturing and MRO) under RIE2030. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, industry collaboration, and business strategy, with a strong interest in the aerospace ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
-Support the development and execution of Aerospace Pillar strategies aligned with
ARTC's key industry thrusts
-Identify and evaluate new markets, emerging opportunities, and strategic partners
within the aerospace manufacturing and MRO value chain to strengthen industry capabilities and ecosystem growth
-Track aerospace industry trends, technology developments, and competitor activities to inform ARTC's R&D priorities and industry engagement roadmap
Partnership & Ecosystem Engagement
-Support major strategic partnership initiatives, including joint laboratories, codevelopment projects, and collaborative programmes with aerospace industry partners in the consortium
-Build strong, trusted relationships with industry leaders, Trade Associations , and other public-sector stakeholders
Account Management - Key Aerospace Pillar Accounts
-Support and progressively manage key Aerospace Pillar accounts, including strategic OEMs, MROs, and Tier-1 suppliers
-Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned industry partners, ensuring strong engagement, responsiveness, and alignment with ARTC's capabilities and programmes
-Coordinate internal technical, programme, and operations teams to ensure effective delivery of projects and partnership commitments
-Identify follow-on opportunities within existing accounts, including new projects, co-development initiatives, and long-term collaboration roadmaps
-Maintain clear account plans, engagement records, and reporting to support strategic oversight of key aerospace partnerships
Qualifications and Relevant Experience
-Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (Master's preferred)
-Experience in business development, industry engagement, or technology commercialisation, preferably within aerospace manufacturing and/or MRO
-Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
-Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment
-Passion for aerospace innovation, advanced manufacturing, and MRO transformation
