Manager, Measurement Science & Engineering
Join the National Metrology Centre (NMC), A*STAR, Singapore's national institute for measurement science, and contribute to the development of Singapore's national measurement infrastructure through scientific excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Maintain, enhance, and develop national electrical measurement standards to ensure traceability, accuracy, and international recognition.
- Perform high-precision calibration and measurement services for industry, government, and research organizations.
- Develop and validate new calibration methods, measurement capabilities, and technical procedures to support emerging technologies.
- Implement and maintain laboratory quality management systems in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and support accreditation activities.
- Provide technical consultancy, training, and proficiency testing to strengthen measurement capabilities across industry and public sectors.
- Conduct applied research and collaborate with local and international partners to advance metrology science and support national strategic initiatives.
- Participate in international metrology comparisons, standards development, and technical committees to represent Singapore in the global metrology community.
