Job Description
What you will do
The project is related to research and development of advanced ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials for realizing high-performance energy conversion or signal transmission functions. The materials particularly include ferroelectric and piezoelectric single crystals, thin films and nanostructures as demanded for producing competitive MEMS devices and ultrasonic transducers. The job scope covers design, growth, characterization and analysis of ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials and exploration for their functional device applications.
What we are looking for
- Ph.D in physics, material science, engineering; or equivalent (a high-performance bachelor/master degree holder with R&D experience).
- Passion in use-inspired research and development of ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials with competitive performance properties and/or environmental sustainability for device applications
- Any of R&D experience below: growth of piezoelectric single crystal; solid-state crystal growth; fabrication of ferroelectric thin films and ceramics; ferroelectric and piezoelectric characterizations and analysis; ultrasonic transducers
- Good track record in publication, patent, or commercialization in the relevant areas as stated above
