You will join the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Team and play a key role in delivering a large-scale ERP transformation. As the Finance Business Analyst, you will lead the design and implementation of end-to-end finance processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, statutory financial reporting standards, government financial policies, and best-in-class finance operating practices.
You will work closely with Finance stakeholders, Procurement, HR, Research Grants, and the appointed System Integrator to translate business needs into scalable, compliant, and audit-ready ERP solutions. This includes driving process harmonisation, strengthening financial controls, and embedding digital capabilities across the Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Budget-to-Report (B2R) lifecycles.
What to Expect
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation for finance processes, including budgeting, GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, cash and bank, management accounting, and financial close.
- Engage stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, HR, Research Grants, and delivery partners to gather, refine, and align requirements.
- Co-create streamlined “to-be” finance processes across R2R, O2C, and B2R through workshops and user journey mapping.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting standards, GST, government financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Work with System Integrators and vendors to configure and optimise finance modules, including SAP S/4HANA Finance, FI/CO, and Group Reporting.
- Drive standardisation, automation, and data quality improvements to strengthen reconciliations, reporting visibility, and close efficiency.
- Support solution design, integration, UAT, change requests, and delivery readiness through to post-go-live stabilisation.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in ERP implementation, business analysis, or project management, preferably in Finance, R2R, or O2C.
- Strong understanding of finance operations, statutory reporting, financial governance, and controls, ideally in public sector or regulated environments.
- Experience in finance process design across GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, management accounting, controlling, and financial close.
- Working knowledge of chart of accounts, cost allocation, multi-entity structures, fund accounting, and research grant accounting.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams and vendors.
- Proven stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, consensus-building, communication, and influencing skills across all levels.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance, FI/CO, Group Reporting, AGD systems, banking gateways, GeBIZ, GST, and Singapore public sector policies is advantageous.
